Confidence vs Fear

When i was a kid, i always believed i could do anything. I never had anyone to take my head out of the clouds. As i’ve grown older though, i’ve slowly started to doubt it.

Every failure is a cold reminder that failure actually is a possibility, every sad tale that even creative people don’t always make it.

Then i discovered TED. And whenever i doubt myself and am surrounded by a miasma, i watch a couple of episodes. A 15 year old guy that has built his own nuclear reactor reminds me that i’m quite old, and the numerous young entrepreneur awards shows me that i can actually make something great happen. I’ve watched David Kelley and followed Elon Musk enough to realize that the odds will never be in your favour if you don’t start.
